I had an absolute blast with these girls this morning. We had to brave some cooler temps as fall decided to show its face here, but all in all it was a great shoot. T and B came to me about getting some photos done for them for a modeling portfolio and I was really excited when they did. I love doing these types of photos and having these two as clients was so much fun!! Here are the few that I was able to get done, I hope they will hold yall over until I can finish the rest. I had the privilege of working with this amazing family this past Saturday afternoon. G was a beautiful bride and was so excited and nervous about her special day. I had the most horrifying thing happen to me and I can not express in words how sorry I am for missing the reception. Having had gastric bypass less than 2 months ago, I was severely dehydrated and blacked out in the heat. I can never give them back their day but luckily I was able to get before, during and all of their formals before this happened. I truly am sorry about this situation and I greatly appreciate you guys for understanding. I hope you enjoy the few that I was able to get completed and I will have your gallery ready soon.

This past weekend was a busy one for me! It started off with a wedding out of town for a sweet couple that I have the pleasure of knowing. I got the call a few days ago from a past client of mine wanting to know if I would take some Senior photos of her stepdaughter. I was more than happy to do this for her and we were able to get them done this morning. L is graduating next year in Texas and was such a pleasure to work with. I had the pleasure of being able to be there when this family was reunited after 6 months apart. You may remember Mom and the girls from a previous post but Dad is a new player in this game. This little man and his family has graced the presence of my blog a few times over the past year!! It all started in his mommy's belly and now he is about to be one year old!! What can I say about these two? I have known this punk (and I say that with all the love in the world ;) ) for over 10 years, he is my husband's baby brother, and his beautiful fiancee is about to join our family! I am doing their wedding in June and while they were down visiting, we did their engagement session! I absolutely love my bro in law and new sis in law...they were so much fun to work with and I am really proud of these pictures. J and L, I really hope you enjoy the few I have edited. Winter time has been slow, but thankfully I am booked for March and in to April and May!! Today a past client and friend of mine came by so I could give her some tips with how to use her camera and practice with her kiddos. This is a personal post to me.....my little girl will be 7 in a week and a half!! It is so hard to believe that she has grown this fast. I wish I could bottle these last 7 years and keep them close. She is my precious first born and she means so much to me. My little Emma is growing up!! I love you sweet girl and I am so thankful to have you in my life. Would not know what to do without you!!! I love when I get to photograph people that I have already photographed! There is something about that relationship that you have already bonded that makes it so easy. I had the pleasure of taking some newborn photos for a wonderful couple whose maternity photos that I took back in April. They are the sweetest couple and so in love and now parents!! They are so wrapped up in their little boy and it is truly a pleasure to see them so happy. I also had the chance to capture the rare moment when grandma met grandson! It amazes me how fast time flies. It seems like just yesterday that I had my 4th and final child. 4th girl on top of that! Now my little bug is 6 months old and trying to crawl. I had the opportunity to spend time with a sweet little guy today. Little N is a week old and the sweetest baby ever!! Although he wanted to poo and pee on everything, we got some great shots of him! Well, my 2 oldest girls are in Texas visiting family and things have been going 100 MPH since they left. I have been neglecting my poor blog and I feel so bad about it. Here is something new that I have gotten since the last time I blogged. My girls are my world and I always said if I ever got a tattoo it would mean something, well, I got one and it means so much!

Today is a special day. My husband is going to the board for his promotion to E-6 in the US Army. As a dedication of sorts to him, here is what I think the perfect accessories to his ACU's are........A red baseball hat and combat boots.....sure is better than that dang beret! (If I offend you have to excuse me...he is prior service Marine and this uniform holds nothing to cammies and dress blues. :) )

It is a girls day in for us today. Laundry, cleaning, and sweeping some wonderful hardwood floors.....so much fun right??? NOT!!!

Well, it is day 3 of my 365 day challenge and I chose a few photos of my 6 month old baby girl's first time in the swimming pool. They grow up way too fast, and being the youngest of our 4, she is our last. :/ Where does the time go?

I had a blast today shooting this couple's maternity photos. A is due in 4 weeks with their little man and definitely had the momma glow!! Reluctant daddy (as most men are) :) didn't want to take part, but was such a good sport!!!! Well, here is day one of my 365 day journey to take a photo and blog about it. I had a session this afternoon and while uploading photos, my 2 year old daughter decided it would be fun to stack her baby sister's baby food jars and proceed to play twinkle little star on them. I wish I had sound on my camera as she sweetly hummed the tune to the song. Here she is, deep in concentration playing her beautiful song.........
